As we approach the end of the year, we find ourselves reflecting not only on the incredible impact you’ve helped us make, but also on the immense challenges facing our country and our community. In a time of uncertainty, division, and hardship, one truth remains clear: children need safe, stable adults now more than ever.
Thanks to your support, our Power of Hope campaign is gaining momentum. But the need continues to grow, and so must our reach.
Every day, children in Montgomery County are navigating foster care, entangled in the juvenile justice system, or struggling to stay afloat in school. These children are not statistics. They are individuals with dreams, fears, and untapped potential. And they are waiting for someone to show up.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
Right now:
- More than 20 students facing educational challenges are waiting to be matched with an Advocate.
- We’re reaching only 40 of over 200 justice-involved youth in our community.
- Hundreds of children in the child welfare system still need the consistent support of a trained Advocate.
With your help, we can close these gaps.

–Only nonprofit serving children in the juvenile justice and education systems with volunteer Advocates.
–Would like to serve 100% of post-adjudicated children in Montgomery County. We currently serve only 20%.
–Future goal to serve pre-adjudicated children with life skills classes and TBRI® training for children and families.

–Provide funding to allow our TBRI® & Community Education division to effectively accommodate growing training requests and ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs.
–Enhance volunteer outreach to increase the number of Advocates supporting growing populations.
–Offer TBRI® coaching to all families.
–Expand Collaborative Family Engagement practices to Justice-Involved Youth and Educational Advocacy cases.
–Enhance support to schools through Educational Advocacy.
–Expand community trauma education for prevention and early intervention, becoming recognized as a local and national thought leader.

–100% of children and families served by a volunteer Advocate (in child welfare, juvenile justice, or educational advocacy capacities) in Montgomery County will be offered TBRI® coaching services by Child Advocates.
–Increased services and support provided to children and families affected by trauma, resulting in better long-term outcomes.
–Increased life skills and system navigation support for teens and parents, resulting in greater confidence, independence, and access to essential resources.
–A truly “Resilience-Focused” Montgomery County, Texas, where the needs of traumatized children are recognized and addressed proactively.
–Transition program models to a proactive, prevention-focused approach.
