Youth with lived experience in both the child welfare and juvenile justice systems face unique challenges, compounded by systemic inequities and barriers to opportunity. This panel will uplift the voices of young leaders from Los Angeles County who have navigated these overlapping systems. They will share personal stories, discuss the intersections of child welfare and juvenile justice, and highlight opportunities for reform and healing.
